Jim Marcelak and Nan Dawson Round Out Recent Growth at CSI Enterprises, Inc. April 1, 2013

Bonita Springs, FL – CSI Enterprises, Inc., a leader in innovative financial solutions for enterprises and businesses, has welcomed Jim Marcelak as Vice President, Senior National Sales Executive.

Jim joined CSI in mid-February and will be responsible for national sales for CSI globalVCard® paysystems.  His focus will be on developing and creating strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth of CSI’s suite of accounts payable products.  Most recently, Marcelak acted as Vice President, Business Banking Market Manager for Fifth Third Bank.  His vast experience as a dedicated sales and service professional, has been welcomed by CSI’s portfolio of multi-national corporations.

Rounding out the changes at CSI’s Bonita Springs headquarters is Nan Dawson, who has been promoted to Team Leader for one of CSI’s specialty groups.  Since joining CSI in late 2012, Dawson has shown a breadth of knowledge and customer satisfaction that has garnered praise from her colleagues.  Disque pointed to those factors as a reason for her quick ascension through the company.

CSI takes top spot in the Ultimate Entrepreneur’s Challenge during Innovation Project 2013 at Harvard University April 1, 2013

Bonita Springs, FL - CSI Enterprises, Inc., a leader in innovative financial solutions for enterprises and businesses, has been awarded the top entrepreneurial prize at this year’s pymnts.com Innovation Project.  The event ran from March 20^th to 21^st at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and included some of the most notable executives and brands in the payments industry.

Presenting in front of a full house at Harvard University’s Sanders Theater, CSI showed off their innovative mobile payments application globalVCard™ as a solution to common B2B payment shortcomings.  The company has created an instantly generated card payment system, available to anyone with a mobile device.  It allows users to charge payments on a temporary card number with just a few simple decisions.

Presented by David Disque, CEO of globalVCard®, Inc., the app garnered immediate enthusiasm from the crowd, and praise from the panel of judges.  The moderators, Russell Simmons and Rob Rosenblatt of Rushcard, were instantly enamored by the flexibility and control of CSI’s globalVCard™ offering, and tendered perfect scores of 5/5.  Both saw huge potential within the market, and acknowledged CSI’s continuing success, growth, and innovation as model for other companies to follow.

CPA Firm Issues SOC 3SM Report on Controls over Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, or Privacy at C.S.I. Enterprises, Inc. March 1, 2013

BONITA SPRINGS, FL – MARCH 1, 2013 – C.S.I. Enterprises, Inc., a leader in innovative financial solutions for enterprises and businesses, today announced that the company has undergone a Service Organization Control 3^SM examination resulting in a CPA’s report stating that management of C.S.I. Enterprises, Inc. maintained effective controls over the security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy of its globalVCard® system. The engagement was performed by BriersCPA, P.A.

A SOC 3^SM report is designed to meet the needs of existing or potential customers  who need assurance about  the effectiveness of controls at a service organization that are relevant to  the security, availability, or processing integrity of the system used by the service organization to process customers’  information, or the confidentiality or privacy of that information.

“We are pleased that our SOC 3^SM report has shown that we have the appropriate controls in place to mitigate risks related to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy,” said David Disque, Vice President of Operations. “We believe our efforts are critical to providing our customers a level of quality assurance related to our globalVCard® pay system.”

The following principles and related criteria have been developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) for use by practitioners in the performance of trust services engagements:

• Security. The system is protected against unauthorized access (both physical and logical).
• Availability. The system is available for operation and use as committed or agreed.
• Processing integrity. System processing is complete, accurate, timely and authorized.
• Confidentiality. Information designated as confidential is protected as committed or agreed.
• Privacy. Personal information is collected, used, retained, disclosed and destroyed in conformity with the commitments in the entity’s privacy notice and with criteria set forth in generally accepted privacy principles issued by the AICPA and CICA. 

A SOC 3^SM report is an internal control report on the services provided by a service organization to its customers and provides valuable information that existing and potential customers of the service organization need to assess and address the risks associated with an outsourced service.

CSI globalVCard™ Mobile App Version 2 – Improvements in Security and User-Interface Round Out the Latest Version March 1, 2013

On February 19^th in Toronto, ON,  globalVCard™ Version 2 will launch as an updated, and even more secure product, with several improvements in the user interface.

Credit card fraud has been on the rise within the past year, and business cardholders have become increasingly more susceptible. globalVCard™ Version 2, will virtually close the door on would-be scammers, by offering unprecedented options for safe and secure transmission.  The new release will feature Secure Send, allowing users to select the security level of how the vCard is sent to the recipient. With a simple tap within the App, a user can select to have an email sent to the recipient, which will require further sign-in action in order to see the card details.
